DANCING WITH THE VERNON STARS
Dancing in the first “Dancing with the Vernon Stars” was a great experience and that year we raised over $17, 000 for the Hospice House, another great event to support our community.
A great Thank You to Lorna who owns Cheek to Cheek dance Studio for organizing this event in order to support the Hospice House.
ANNUAL REALTORS FOOD DRIVE
The HEIDI LUSSI Real Estate Team was proud to be apart of the 34th Annual Realtors food drive. Thousands of items jammed the shelves of the North Okanagan food bank after the food drive. In Greater Vernon, 20 tons of food was collected, up from 19 tons last year. The donations were sorted through and will be able to fill the anticipated 800 Christmas food hampers and will also feed people well into 2012.
Thank you to all who donated their non-perishable food items and to all the Realtors who participated in the collection. It would not be successful without every single one of you!
SILVER STAR ADAPTIVE SNOW SPORTS
As an avid skier, Heidi is happy to be a regular sponsor and equipment donor to Silver Star Adaptive Snow Sports (SSASS) at Silver Star Mountain Resort.
Seeing young children and adults being able to enjoy a sport we also love during the winter months made us decide to buy their first sit-ski for the Children a few years ago and have supported them in their annual ski races ever since. I would like to thank all the volunteers as well for supporting such a great organization.

Thank you everyone for making this year's event a great success. At RE/MAX Vernon, we raised nearly $2,500!!
We were thrilled to have participated at the RE/MAX Yard Sale for the Cure. Sadly everyone, in some way or another, either personally, or knows of a family member, friend or colleague who has been touched by cancer. So it is only fitting that we do what we can in helping to make cancer history.
With the help and support from our great community, another step was taken towards the fight. Thank you.
